I'm 19, and I've been working in cybersecurity for 3 years — pentesting, infrastructure auditing, cloud security. Alongside that, I manage servers, online communities, and have been building open source projects since high school.
CORAX.chat was born from a simple observation: the communication tools we use every day — Discord, Slack, Teams — are centralized, closed, and completely beyond our control. I wanted to build something different: a decentralized communication platform, open source, based on the Matrix protocol, with a truly modern UX.
This isn't a side project: CORAX.chat is structured around a French non-profit association (loi 1901) that carries the project's values (privacy, transparency, open governance) and an upcoming SAS (company) that will fund development through premium services — without ever compromising the open source core.
I'm building this in public, with a simple philosophy: if a communication tool is to be trustworthy, it must be verifiable, auditable, and user-governed.
